My Journey
For the past five years I have been studying at Kennesaw State University, specializing in literature and history, especially medieval England and renaissance Italy.
Most of my work experience is from part-time jobs I worked during college. The first job was at H&M; I was selling clothes, keeping the store orderly, and helping thwart a local shoplifting ring. When I moved closer to Kennesaw, I switched to working at the restaurant Atlanta Bread Company. This is where I honed my customer service skills; you’ll still see my name on several Google reviews of the Woodstock Square location. I also trained several new employees in our restaurant workflows, making sure their first two weeks get them ready to work the register and in the dining room. Some people train their own replacement, I trained a team of replacements in my last month.
After graduating, I decided to pivot dramatically into AI use, particularly Claude Code and Cowork. Understanding how to speak to machine intelligences is an interesting skill in and of itself; managing AI agents and using them to automate various tasks is a growing part of the economy. For the past few months I have been developing AI fluency, learning the basics from free certifications and learning even more by building small projects, as seen in my portfolio.
